The beta, in short

Free, and the full synth. Every engine, the patchbay, the probability sequencer — not a cut-down build, no card required.
Free until October 15, 2026. After that it keeps working as a demo — a brief periodic dip, and no usable bounce, since every render is watermarked — until you register a license, which you can do any time.
Full licenses for ten. Ten beta users of our choosing get the full license, free.
Your presets, our call. Any preset you submit can ship as a factory preset, credited to you — submitting grants us that right and creates no obligation on our side. If at least one of yours ships, a solid discount is the least you’ll get. Submissions are open until 1 October 2026.
At our discretion. All perks — the ten free licenses, the discounts, the preset picks — are ours to grant. The beta comes with no guarantees.

Download

Leave your email, pick your platform, and the installer is yours. Activate whenever you’re ready — one license unlocks the full version on up to 3 of your machines at once. There’s no separate “demo build”: your license simply lifts the demo’s occasional interruption and the watermark that keeps you from bouncing with it.

Download the installer for your platform and quit your DAW.
Run it — pick your plug-in formats (VST3, CLAP, and AU on macOS); they land in the standard system folders.
Start your DAW and let it rescan its plugins. Phaseburn One appears in the instrument list.

Installing

Both installers are code-signed. macOS opens straight away; Windows can still interrupt while its new certificate builds reputation. The same steps arrive by email, so you have them once this tab is gone.

One .pkg installs every macOS format — VST3, CLAP, AU and the Standalone.

Quit your DAW, then double-click the .pkg and follow the installer.
Choose the components you want — VST3, CLAP, AU and the Standalone are all ticked by default.
Start your DAW and let it rescan its plug-ins.

Installing over a previous version updates it in place — presets, favorites and your license carry over untouched.

Windows signed · SmartScreen may warn

This installer is digitally signed. Windows SmartScreen still builds its reputation for a new signing certificate over time, so a blue “Windows protected your PC” notice can appear anyway until that reputation accumulates.

If SmartScreen interrupts

Click “More info”.
Check the publisher reads Pavel Burylichev.
Click “Run anyway”, and the installer opens normally.

Verify the signature yourself

Right-click the .exe → Properties → Digital Signatures. You should see Pavel Burylichev, with a timestamp.

It fades as more people install the build — nothing about it indicates a fault in the download.

Before you ask

Why the email?

It’s how we reach beta testers: your download link if you need it again, and — only if you tick the boxes — new-build notes or the newsletter. No card, no account, and one click unsubscribes from either. The details live in our privacy policy.

Does it cost anything?

No. The beta is free, there is no card step anywhere, and there is nothing to cancel. The build is the full synth and stays free to use until October 15, 2026.

What happens at launch?

Phaseburn One is €149 one-time, incl. VAT for EU buyers — a perpetual, DRM-free license you can register any time. It’s free to use until October 15, 2026, then continues as a demo until you register. Ten users we pick get the full license, free.
