Phaseburn Music is an independent music-software company. One conviction drives everything we ship: an instrument has to earn its place by sounding like itself. Built from the science, not from someone else’s circuit board.
Phaseburn One is instrument № 1 — a groove synth: one voice by design, optionally paraphonic, with a Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) at its heart, a probability sequencer that plays it like a player and drives other instruments over MIDI, and an effects rack that takes your audio in. More instruments and tools are in the lab; progress lands on the blog first.

No AI in the sound — the generative tools run on music-theory rules you can read, with weighted chance inside. No emulation — Phaseburn One emulates nothing and sounds like itself. The foundations come from published research; the character comes from algorithms of our own.
